Let us introduce you to Tali.
Hailing from the Arrente and Luritja mob, Tali is setting himself up to be one amazing artist to keep an eye on.
Tali is a 16-year-old lad who attends our local school. He is involved in many of the local sporting clubs and is always willing to help a younger person or adult for that matter learn new skills or adapt current ones.
Tali was tasked to create something for our merch to be based on. The end result was something we couldn’t be happier with.
About his design: “this painting’s meaning is showing how people come from many places and meet/unite at the Kapunda Rodeo in the centre. In the corner there are boomerangs next to horseshoes representing my culture and the culture of the rodeo. Next to these there are kangaroo and parrente tracks to represent my totem animal and kangaroo tracks are significant in my culture too.”
Tali has generously donated the painting to teh Kapunda Rodeo and we will be auctioning it on rodeo night with all proceeds being donated to the MND foundation in loving memory of Aunty Leo.We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.
This is when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- is unsafe
